Art has always been a part of my life. From drawing horses and copying Christmas cards as a child, to art classes in high school, to painting furniture and glassware, to designing logo’s and invitations, I have always felt the need to create. When I see a beautiful work of art I think “How did they do that? How can I do that?”
My adventures in watercolor began in 2001 with a two hour workshop at an art store. I have continued my education in watercolor through books, classes and workshops from very talented artists. I have learned that the most important skill is to relax and have FUN with my painting. To enjoy the process!
I am inspired by many things in the world around me. I am enchanted with the brilliant colors of nature and the expressiveness of animals. When I listen to music I see colors and images in my mind.
My goal, through my paintings, is to share with others my love of art and the joy of creating.
